I have a degree in Software Engineering and an MSc in Web Engineering, both from the University of Oviedo. I'm based in Spain and work full-time as a researcher at WESO (Web Semantics Oviedo), where I'm about to start my PhD. My interest lies in knowledge representation and, in particular, in applying knowledge graph technologies to real-world problems. Most of my work goes into rudof, an open-source Rust library that provides tools for working with knowledge graphs, which I help develop and maintain. Rust is my language of choice these days, but I'm happy to use whatever fits the problem best. I also really enjoy architectural and design patterns and the infrastructure side of software: building systems that are not just correct, but well-structured, easily maintainable and reliable. |
