plugin-system-parser-impl's transitive com.jetbrains.intellij.platform:util pulls in at.yawk.lz4:lz4-java, a newer fork that declares itself a Gradle-capability replacement for net.jpountz.lz4:lz4. plugins-verifier-service (a separate composite build that also includes intellij-plugin-structure) depends on org.mapdb:mapdb, which needs the old lz4 coordinates - so its :test task failed to resolve testRuntimeClasspath at all, since Gradle won't pick between two different artifacts claiming the same capability. Excluded at the dependency declaration instead of patching plugins-verifier-service directly: plugin.xml parsing never touches LZ4 compression, so this is dead weight for our purposes, and fixing it here covers every consumer of structure-intellij, not just this one project. Reproduced the original failure locally (plugins-verifier-service :test), confirmed the exclude fixes it, and confirmed no test failures in either project.
