Custom Colors and labels

I would like to have an option where I can customize the colors or labels in the comments. Is there any way to customize it to my liking ?

The only way to customize a widget design is to fork the repository and modify the code.

I think I could use BEM class names to allow users to override styles, but I won't be able to do that in the near future.
