How to store settings locally in Viking installation directory? - Make Viking portable

How can I tell Viking to store all its settings locally in a file or sub directory of the installation directory (on Windows 10).

Currently whenever I start Viking on Windows the initial window size is small and at an unwanted screen position.

So I always have to resize and move the window. Thats uncomfortable and unnecessary

Viking stores it's window size in the per user viking.ini file (settings values window_width and window_height) which are only used if Edit->Preferences->Startup->Restore Window Setup is enabled.
I think that the screen position is determined by the operating system/desktop environment, rather than Viking itself.

For Windows, the viking.ini file is in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\viking

If you really want to save it's settings as part of the installation directory, you tell Viking where to use it's configuration directory via a command line parameter on startup, e.g. something like:
viking -c "C:\Program Files\viking\configuration"

For Windows, you'd probably want to create a desktop shortcut to run Viking as you want (and create/ensure that config directory exists and that the user has write permissions to it as well).
