Hi, opening this as a heads up, not a bug report.
OpenStreetMap is planning to drop the old "Public" and "Private" visibility levels for GPS traces and keep only "Trackable" and "Identifiable". The old levels are unintuitive or misleading, and they add performance issues on the website.
Since viking uploads GPS traces to OSM, this change will affect it. Once it lands, uploading a trace with "Public" or "Private" will be rejected by the API with a 400 Bad Request. I wanted to flag it early so you can check if anything needs an update.
More details and reasoning are in the forum thread: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/changes-coming-to-gps-trace-uploads/145728
