ArgonDBD Simulation at 10/20 KHz

I am working on understanding the ArgonDBD example. Currently it is configured to run at 1MHz, 500V sinewave. But I want to run it at 1kV, 10kHz.
When I make these changes in the 0/dielectric_1/Phi file, the simulation crashes.
What other files/variables do I need to change? The controlDict file has the timing of the simulation, and I have made changes to run the simulation at 25us at 10kHz.
