feature request | export mms attachments to contact-named folders

Thanks for producing such an excellent tool as SMS-IE.

Currently in the process of doing its wonderful job, SMS-IE successfully exports all mms files (images, audio, video) to the backup /data folder. It's very useful to have the full export of these files available.

However, the files are disorganized in the sense that they are not grouped in any way. A very helpful solution for many users would be the option to automatically organize these files into folders named for the contacts who sent/received them.

For example, the result would have folders like:
Akash Pragadish
Jill Moore
Joe Davis
...each containing the mms files shared between the user and those contacts.

(If there is a reason the /data folder must remain flat and cannot be organized this way, then alternatively, a separate mms export feature that does this would be useful.)

There's no fundamental reason why this couldn't be done, but two general design principles of SMS I/E are to prioritize simplicity and to preserve the format and organization of the exported data as much as possible. The way we currently store binary MMS parts is the way that Android stores them internally. Doing what you suggest is certainly possible, but it would complicate the code and take work, and it's not something that I'm too interested in doing. Accordingly, I don't currently plan to implement your suggestion, but I'll leave this issue open for further discussion.
