caption don't work properly with Bootswrapper plugin

Using at the same time the plug-in:
https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:bootswrapper
mask the reference number in the legend of images or tables.

Currently I see no (simple) solution to this problem, as the bootswrapper plugin supports the same type of XML-like tag (<caption>). Any suggestions how to cope with that are highly welcome.
