Registration failed: old_version

Hi, my Wazapp client (v0.9.22) on Nokia N9 doesn't connect any more. Trying to register again fails with old_version.

Is there any fix or workaround for this issue?

Start using https://openrepos.net/content/cepiperez/whatsup instead of Wazapp. Found it yesterday when I started having the same issue with Wazapp.

I also found "whatsup" on openrepos and it works fine. However, it doesn't look like being open source, do you have more information on that?

Is there a statement from Tarek that there won't be any updates to wazapp any more?
I really liked wazapp, thank you very much for a greap app, Tarek!

No I don't know about its opensourceness. Apparently it isn't open source - some people seemed to ask for it to be open source in the comments of the page.

Well there haven't been any updates in the src for some time so I believe Wazapp isn't actively being updated - but that's just a guess. I can also imagine Tarek's motivation is quite low because of insane corporate policies (http://openwhatsapp.org/blog/2013/03/24/dear-blackberry/). Big thanks to Tarek for this app! Brought much life to my precious but unfortunately rottening N9!
