I am also facing the same issue. I downloaded it again but its the same issue again.

Is there any updates on why does FMD can't or unable to download any manga series.

I just check the Downloader, its still not working here. It downloads Empty Folders and later on it fails.

No Fix done at all.

AFAIK this version has stopped being maintained. There's a newer, 100% compatible version at https://github.com/fmd-project-team/FMD (also discontinued) as well as a newer version at https://github.com/dazedcat19/FMD2/releases (that needs a conversor you can download from there, plus some manual editing).
