pyjanitor import breaks pandas hints/autocompletion

Hi,
just what the title says. when I make ìmport janitor` makes that the hints and autocompletions of pandas library do not work at all. Any clue? I'm using vscode.

Thanks for your answer. No, in ipython works fine.
pandas version: 2.2.3
janitor version: 0.30.0
vscode version: 1.97.2
jupyter extension version: 2025.2.0
OS: Debian 12

update:
this happens when i use a janitor mehtod over a df, like clean_names(). if I try to access a pd object that has not been changed by janitor, hints are aveilable

I have no idea why it is not working within a .py file. @ericmjl any ideas? @pyjanitor-devs/core-devs ?

i don'w know if you test it, but if you did you missed the photo of my exact case:
A .py file trying to call a janitor function from a pandas object.
You called a janitor function from a pandas object but from the interactive jupyter window (.ipynb).
The other two examples you showed from .py file work fine for me too.

@jaymc-betta Your observation is correct and I encountered the same issue in a .py file. I have no idea why it works fine in a Jupyter environment but not in a .py environment. I have sniped @ericmjl to see if he has an idea on this. Could you bring this up with the vscode team as well, to get their opinion?
