The company I work at has a 3rd party support who maintains our IBM i. On top of that, I have to talk to our system admin here to get the ticket made, which then goes to the 3rd party...
When I go look at Debug Service PTF SJ06931 on IBM's website, I just see:
SJ06931 - Creating IBMDebugService PTF latest version
... which is a fix for "known issue"
DT448755 - Preparation for IBMDebugService PTF latest version.
Neither of these seem to have any details as to what's changed/new/improved/fixed.
Basically, without seeing a changelog, its hard to determine if it's worth the effort to get the PTF installed or to wait for the next version, such as whether or not an issue my team is facing is addressed, or if there's a noteworthy feature now available that will revolutionize our workflow.
Side note - one of my teammates is now also using Code for i. All of his debugs are ran as though it is my user profile - its all on my user, my outq, ect, but yet he's logged in as his user in Code for i. Apart from a potential security concern, it's annoying to have all of the "job completed" messages popping up on my 5250 terminal.
