[BUG] State transfer scenario results are indeterminate

What scenario were you running when you encountered the issue?
Scenarios 5 and 6 (the stateful scenarios)

What did you expect to happen?
Adding messages (state) to the guestbook application, after migration, should be present on the target side.

What actually happened?
The guestbook comes up empty on the target side, often but not always.

Please include any relevant logs or errors

It's suspected this has to do with redis data consistency across the source cluster. It's possible that it's not consistent on the source side once we do the transfer.
