Yep. That's a good call. I brought this up because a couple of times now I've been caught out by consecutive I wanted to sound generic because I didn't want to be the password police, and I didn't look up what's in the 'Extended ASCII' pwd generator set. |

I realise there aren't any "spare" characters to do this with, but work with me for a sec...
I'm thinking of something like the way document editors do "view formatting marks" to show spaces as dots and tabs as arrows and so on. Perhaps we could show these symbols in a different colour so you can tell they represent something and aren’t literally present.
It'd be nice to see a toggle next to the dice and eye in the password field. Something like the paragraph symbol used in tool bars (¶) perhaps?
