What is Kiro Gateway?

Hey Dev 👋

I am a vibe coder and came across your repository today. I am using Kiro IDE (signed into it using IAM account).

I also have Cursor Pro version (cursor installed) in my Windows device.

Here's what I am able to understand about this project:

I can use my Kiro IDE credits (I use opus 4.5 in Kiro) in my Cursor software. Am I right?

Actually, my Cursor credits are over and I have used too much of my Cursor subscription. So Can I use my Kiro Credits into Cursor?

that is correct in order to use this you need to run it first then in cursor pro, change <your domain> into your domain where you deploy this repo because cursor can't take localhost domain you can use ngrok or cloudflare tunnel for it:

Unfortunately, in my case it is not working.

It always says the below in Cursor - when i type any message into Cursor (with my custom model selected):

1. Chat context summarized
2. Planning next actions
3. Internal Error - An unexpected error occurred on our servers. Please try again, or contact support if the issue persists.

P.S. .env is configured properly, Cloudflared Tunnel works fine. I have access to Kiro Pro in my account.

I tried these model names in Custom Model (Cursor settings):

• claude-opus-4-5-20251101
• claude-opus-4-5

Hey @jwadow, thanks for replying.

Actually, I don't know why it is giving me that DNS error. I am not in any corporate network (i am using my home router without any third-party DNS tweaks).

Is their any way I can troubleshoot this? I mean is their any command I need to run to find more details so that I can share some sort of logs to assist?

P.S. When I use my Kiro IDE, I face no issues with that.

@imrishabhchauhan I fixed in c33862b, try to git pull or clean clone.

Regarding the DNS issue, that's a different matter entirely. If all requests are successful, there's little point in fixing it, as even Kiro IDE works perfectly. It's most likely a lower-level problem, perhaps with the Python network stack or something else. In any case, everything should be working now.

Just tried again after git pull. But same issue.

I have attached multiple screenshots.

When I entered "hi" in Cursor - after few seconds immediately in my PowerShell a long red code appeared (attached screenshot).

@imrishabhchauhan I just added full Cursor IDE support (936f798) that might fix your issue.
Please try again after updating to the latest version:
git pull and restart gateway

In any case, without specific logs I can't solve the problem, this is already off-topic, you should create an issue (https://github.com/jwadow/kiro-gateway/issues) by "bug" template. This isn't "discussions" topic.
