How to disable the NEC, 38KHz and HEX code from the button interface? #92

Description

@danpeig

Hi,

I am using your app to program an "senior friendly" remote control for my aging parents and I would like to provide them a clean interface without visual distractions.

I was wondering if I could edit the JSON configuration file to:

  1. Remove the NEC or protocol tag from the buttons.
  2. Remove the HEX string from the button labels.
  3. Remove the 38kHz tag from the button labels.

I know the tags are important for a remote control design engineer but they take important real estate from the screen and sometimes get in the top of the text (compact mode) preventing the visualization.

Finally, I would like to suggest (feature), the ability of using both an icon and a text for the buttons. For example, volume up/down symbols combined with a tag "soundbar" or "TV".

Thank you,
