For now, I manually changed MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY into ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY and it seems to work, but I guess more testing is needed.

In my case the dump of a complete database work after this issue was fixed.

ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY is available since PHP 5.1 . For myself I use this hack in mysqldump-php with PHP 8.2 successfully.

Please release a new version since I use mysqldump-php with composer and I could not change this within a composer integration for myself.

I added code to make mysqldump-php compatible with php >8.4 without breaking backwards compatiblity, and tagged a new release. Hope that his helps once and for all with this problem.
