Active tab is missing from the vertical tab list on Linux

Description

Brave is displaying a webpage as the active tab, and its URL is visible in the address bar, but the corresponding tab is completely absent from the vertical tab list.

The tab named “Watch Young Sheld…” shown at the top of the list is not the currently displayed tab. It is a separate media tab and has an audio indicator.

Collapsing and expanding the vertical tab panel did not restore the missing active tab. Three unrelated tabs also displayed close buttons at the same time.

Steps to reproduce

1. Use Brave with vertical tabs and many open tabs.
2. Open or switch to a webpage.
3. The webpage and its URL are displayed normally.
4. Search the entire visible vertical tab list.
5. The active webpage has no corresponding tab entry.
6. Collapse and expand the vertical tab panel.
7. The active tab remains missing.

Actual result

The active page exists and can be used, but its tab is absent from the vertical tab list.

Expected result

The active page must always have a visible corresponding entry in the tab list, and the active entry should be clearly indicated.
