Automatic installation of Brave Hosted NoScript extension along side previous NoScript version #57760

Description

@Dork74

Description

Automatic installation of Brave Hosted NoScript extension along side previous NoScript version. Only indication was NoScript install info screen which I assumed was just a version update. Both were running simultaneously but as only original version was pinned to taskbar there was no indication hosted version was running so websites were broken due to lack of javascript. Disabling protection on original version via taskbar had no effect and setting were not migrated from installed version. If both removed and current NoScript installed from extensions store, hosted version automatically removes it and installs itself with no notifications

Steps to reproduce

  1. Remove all NoScript extensions.
  2. Install the official NoScript extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  3. Observe that Brave automatically installs "NoScript (Brave Hosted)" version 11.4.11 alongside the Chrome Web Store version 13.6.20.
  4. Restart Brave.

Actual result

The Chrome Web Store version is automatically removed.
The Brave Hosted version remains.
All previous NoScript settings, trusted sites, and configuration are lost.
Before restart, both extensions are active simultaneously, causing confusing behavior.

Expected result

Either do not replace the user's chosen extension, or
Migrate the user's NoScript configuration to the Brave Hosted version, or
Prompt the user before replacing the extension.
