Does not compile against ffmpeg 7.x installed libraries

Many distributions have transitioned to the ffmpeg 7.x codebase.

dvbcut no longer compiles against these libraries as installed due to deprecated calls and API changes - at least that is what I believe off the back of errors.

There is a specific bug raised against Debian for this, and when compiling on either Trixie or Sid I get the same errors as this bug.

I have also tried on Arch with the same results.

Is there an intention to fix this such that dvbcut builds against ffmpeg 7.x libraries?

One of the forks recently committed a fix to allow compilation against v7.x
Whilst it compiles and runs, there is a functional impact.
If you scroll forward in the video using small increments (using either shift+right-arrow key or ctrl+right-arrow key, or either shift+mousewheel or ctrl+mousewheel), dvbcut will consume 100% of one core and effectively crash. It doesn't properly recover.
I tested this in Debian Trixie and Manjaro, with the same results in both OS.
