Empty artist field

In my downloaded CSV file many (21339 of 54276 total tracks) tracks are without the album field. Why is that? Is it a known bug?

I checked if it's still an issue - it is. The username is: szalonykp.

I've taken a look at the requests made to the api (example).

The actual response from the api doesn't contain the album field, which unfortunately means I can't really fix it with this tool (with some effort it might be possible to use musicbrainz to fill in the gaps, but I wouldn't know where to start).

…what's really interesting about this is that the <url> seems to contain the data that "cocoon" is in the album "mut" (as it is listed in musicbrainz) - I wonder why this hasn't been reflected in the api response.

Scrobbles without album info may come from using direct YouTube playback on the Last.fm site which never contains album or album artist data or from importing from a CSV or JSON or other format file that does not contain it, e.g. with Ben's tool. 😉
