For this package, we want a dedicated top-level page that links to the general page linked above but also contains python-asdf-specific examples and details.
As many users will be familiar with astropy.io.fits it would be helpful to have some basic comparisons of:
- loading data from a FITS vs ASDF file
- loading metadata from a FITS vs ASDF file
- creating a FITS vs ASDF file
