Perhaps introducing infinite scroll would be an even better solution. What do you think? We can also add a button to each day in the date sidebar to load the whole day and an extra button below the days to load the previous day. |

Hello! I think the current infinite-scroll behavior works well, but it would be really nice if the timeline showed a complete list of available dates with the record count for each day, rather than only summarizing the records that have already been loaded. Clicking a date could then load records from that day, while infinite scroll could continue within that selected time window. That would make browsing older history much easier. |

This is a great suggestion, thanks. I think it is relatively easy to implement using bleve's facets and probably it isn't require significant computation. It would be good to somehow limit the displayed days. Perhaps grouping older entries by weeks, then months depending on their age? |

I think grouping dates after a specific amount of time would be a great trade off. At the very least, it would help prevent a ton of infinite scrolling to find a specific date range. |

Of course, it wasn't as easy as I expected, but according to my tests it is working. Please test if you have some time. It is available on the master branch and as rolling release. |

Works perfectly over here. I like how you grouped the older entries, too. It keeps things really clean, even when expanded to see a month's worth of days. IMO, it's meaningfully easier to navigate the history. Thank you, and nice work! 👍 |

often when I am searching I tend to know what day I visited a site from. It is cumbersome to have to click load a ton of times. Would it be possible to have a load all button instead of just a load more? so two options Load More or Load All? Or make it where Load More can be adjusted via config/env that way we can adjust how much it loads at one time?
