describe the problem

archinstall using the 2027.07.01 ISO using Niri DMS desktop + power-profiles-daemon crashes the installer while installing the packages.

There are 3 issues with PR #4554

• Your report. ppd (Conflicts with Applications > Power Management only for laptops)
• cups-pk-helper being hardcoded (Conflicts with Applications > Print)

These both are optional in DMS docs.

Finally: polkit is hardcoded in the package list instead of respecting seatd vs polkit pick.
