[BUG] pytorch 2.3.0 not supported with transformers

transformers-5.15.0 is not compatible with PyTorch 2.3, for chronos_forecasting-2.3.1, even though the requirements are

transformers<6,>=4.41, torch<3,>=2.2

Getting the following message:

[transformers] Disabling PyTorch because PyTorch >= 2.5 is required but found 2.3.0

This doesn't look like a bug to me. You can install torch>=2.2,<3 + transformers<5 or you can install torch>=2.5 + transformers>=5. Both resolutions are allowed within this range.

The version ranges provided by the package do not guarantee that every combination of dependencies in the cross product of all versions is valid, rather that valid combinations existing within the range.
