Objective

Transform previous Product Partner program to improve experience for implementers, users, and maintainers.

Scope

• Easy to understand submission process
• Self-submission, by defining structured data and leveraging automation
• Design new requirements such that any evidence provided can be leveraged for documentation
• Feeds into user-facing documentation

Rationale

• Improves documentation and meaning for users
• Incentivizes better implementations without too much overhead.
• Makes "supporting ACES" clearer to improve number and quality of implementations.

Some functionality to consider

• Define minimum tiers - What transforms should all implementations provide? What is optional?
• Define data structure and PR template - How do they submit?
• Prototype building dynamic table from PRs for user-facing front end - How do submissions get processed and then presented?
• Documentation to guide implementers through the process - What do they need to do?
• Transition existing product partners - How do we update early supporters without too much burden?
