At the moment, we don't have a good way to deal with observations that look at the same target (and have the same name), but are single pointings at various regions. You could imagine this for huge targets like M31/LMC etc., where you just do snapshots across a galaxy. It's come up for a project I've been giving some background assistance on (8277, PIs are Adam Smercina and Eric Bell)
