Operator Preset Title not Staying + Question

When selecting an operator preset, the title does not stay.

Additionally, is there a something/or a file that can be shared so that someone else using the addon is able to use the same preset?

Yes you can retrieve the preset files with a right-click on the preset name:
(it should be somewhere like AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.5\scripts\presets\operator
or ~/.config/Blender/4.5/scripts/presets/operator on Linux.

Regarding the name of the preset not being displayed it is a limitation of the current preset system I am using.
(or rather a tradeoff since I use blender internal preset system instead of a custom one saving me hundreds of lines of code)

Blender internal preset system used to do that in the past but not anymore it seems.
There is an open bug report about it :
Export operator preset doesn't show currently active preset
It is not a high priority bug for the devs right now but should be fixed in the future hopefully.

Another limitation of this preset system is that they are stored independently in 2 folders, one for the operator in the File > Import menu and another one for the compact panel available via a shortcut button in the shader editor & material properties panel.
We'll have to wait for future improvements of the operator preset system in the 5.0 branch.
