How can we use Claude models provided via vertex ai?

I want to check on how can i leverage vertex ai as a model provider to integrate it with Shannon? Is this achievable ?

Shannon runs on the pi harness, which doesn't support Claude models on Vertex AI.

For Vertex, the recommended route is an Anthropic-compatible LLM proxy such as LiteLLM, with Shannon configured against it via Custom Base URL.

Keep the model IDs as the standard Anthropic names (claude-haiku-4-5-20251001, claude-sonnet-4-6, claude-opus-4-8) and configure your proxy to map those to the matching Vertex deployments. Shannon resolves models against Anthropic's naming, so proxy-side or Vertex-native IDs won't resolve.
