Get Indy added to Embarcadero's GetIt Package Manager (and possibly other 3rd party package managers). This would allow Embarcadero to no longer need to bundle Indy directly in each IDE installer, users can opt in to download and install Indy directly from within the IDE only if they really want it. This should also help with updating existing installations as new Indy releases are made.
Before Indy can be added to GetIt, its installation procedure needs to be streamlined a bit - consolidate source code folders and package files, make use of per-IDE install folders, make use of LIBSUFFIX, remove dependency on BCB conditional and command-line build scripts for C++Builder, etc.
Also, at this time, only Embarcadero can directly add Indy to GetIt and update it for each release, hence the need to simplify Indy's installation. Documentation for what actions GetIt actually supports is forthcoming from Embarcadero.
Eventually, Embarcadero plans to release a customer portal for component vendors to manage their own GetIt submissions, but that is not available at this time.
