Option for double click to play, rather than add to queue

Sometime I just want to play a track, not queue. It. in the folder view there is an option to right click play individual tracks. There is no option in library view. Really, I would just prefer to have an option for double clicking to play the tune or album.

Having used myMPD, I now understand that I am looking for an option to replace queue for all interactions, rather than append queue.

Adding the "Play" option to individual tracks in the library view is certainly doable; I think making the double click behavior configurable to switch between append and replace would be a valuable improvement as well.
