Is the Resource Group name "mdc-network-exposure-trusted-ips" mandatory for the Trusted IPs policy?

I noticed the resource group name "mdc-network-exposure-trusted-ips" is hardcoded in the policy definitions and deployment templates. Is it mandatory to use this specific name, or can it be customized?
