Multiple instances on M1 Mac

I've got the latest build of SDR++ installed and working fine on a MacBook Air M1 under Sonoma. Thank you! developers! I'm using a HF+ Discovery which doesn't cover the entire MW band. I have used multiple instances of HDSDR on a Windows box to use two instances to recored IQ files with two different center frequencies to get a whole band experience. Can one run two instances of SDR++ on a Mac?

You can execute the other instance by executing the sdrpp binary from the command line.
It is the Finder that blocks the other instances to start and activates the existing instance instead.
One trick to get multiple instances "supported" is to add a menu item to sdrpp to start another instance itself.

Just be careful of the config. If you add bookmarks in one, it won't save in the other
