Could you please confirm you're trying to build ArmNN v21.06? That's a old version of ArmNN which was not meant to build against the latest version of ACL.

Thanks for the details. This looks like a compatibility issue between ComputeLibrary 53.1.0 and recent Khronos OpenCL headers, rather than an ArmNN source issue.

The failing symbols are all from the KHR command-buffer extension, for example:

    clCreateCommandBufferKHR
    clRetainCommandBufferKHR
    clReleaseCommandBufferKHR
    clFinalizeCommandBufferKHR
    clEnqueueCommandBufferKHR
    clCommandNDRangeKernelKHR
    clUpdateMutableCommandsKHR

Recent OpenCL headers hide these beta/provisional extension declarations unless CL_ENABLE_BETA_EXTENSIONS is defined before including the OpenCL headers. ComputeLibrary’s arm_compute/core/CL/OpenCL.h declares function pointers for these symbols, so the ArmNN build fails as soon as an ArmNN translation unit includes the ACL OpenCL headers.

As a workaround, could you try building with:

-DCL_ENABLE_BETA_EXTENSIONS

For the openSUSE packaging options, this should go in either:

extra_cc_flags: -DCL_ENABLE_BETA_EXTENSIONS

or, since the current failure is in a C++ source file:

extra_cxx_flags: -DCL_ENABLE_BETA_EXTENSIONS

It should not go in extra_link_flags, since this is a compile-time preprocessor define rather than a linker option.

The cleaner upstream fix is likely in ComputeLibrary: define CL_ENABLE_BETA_EXTENSIONS in arm_compute/core/CL/OpenCL.h before including the Khronos OpenCL headers, or guard the command-buffer declarations consistently. But the build flag above should confirm the diagnosis and unblock the package build.
