Install v1.5.34 and rebooted (2x) but still double :

I ran it with --restore. At the moment it ran I was unable to use DSM anymore and was unable to login anymore on my NAS (tried several accounts). Shares are working but unable to logon on DSM

Oops....

Via SSH I ran it as normal and rebooted.

Still not possible to login :(

UPDATE: able to login again but 2x Configure... trying again....

UPDATE2: ran --restore , my normal one, rebooted : still 2x Configure Storage Efficiency.

What do you need from me so you can help me and others? For me it's no issue, it's just cosmetic.

When you were unable to log into DSM did the browser show a warning about the password was going to be sent in plain text? I got that warning and clicked OK but was not able to log in because the password was wrong. Then I refreshed he browser window and the login box was white with no username field or button.. I had to reboot the Synology via SSH using sudo synoshutdown --reboot to avoid getting an unsafe shutdown email.

Are you running the script with the --hdd option? I do NOT run it with --hdd in DSM 7.4.

I did not get a warning of plain text. I also did not get a warning it was a dirty shutdown. (did reboot via ssh)

I had the options --hdd --autoupdate=3, now changed into --autoupdate=3 (task scheduled 3x a week).

DS1821+ and DS920+ with DSM 7.4.1-90080 no -hdd option working fine !!! thanks
